Je commence aujourd'hui mon nouveau blog qui est en fait une traduction approximative en français et en anglais de mon blog en finnois. Je me concentre sur la vie dans le Midi de la France telle que je le vis au jour le jour.
Et pourquoi le parfum de lavande? La lavande est une plante emblematique de la Provence. Elle cadre bien avec ma passion pour les plantes en général et les fleurs en particulier. Elle est aussi une puissante plante pour les huiles essentielles qui m'intéressent beaucoup.

And why, will you be asking yourself, should I name it "the perfume of lavender"? The flower and the scent of the lavender evoke powerfully the Provence. The lavender flower symbolizes also my passion for the plants, in particular the flowers. The scent of the lavender reminds us too that it is an important essential oil.
